I'm a damsel. I'm in distress. I can handle this. Have a nice day.

It's been a couple of weeks! I just thought I'd point that out. I doubt you really notice the long gaps, its not like you're desperate to hear be natter on for ten minutes. If you do? Um er... you need to get a life. Anyway, here we goooo...

So I guess the biggest things that have eventuated in the last two weeks have been that yesterday I sent in my police check and that I have nearly sorted out accommodation. For the first one, it was pretty straight forward. I printed out the form soon after I got it (which was a good idea, considering that my printer ran out of ink two weeks ago and I've yet to go a refill it). It was stuck to my wall waiting for me to send it. Last week on Monday, my lecturer was talking about when he'd needed to get one that it took them 38 days to get it back. Since its due September the 1st... I don't have high hopes that it will be in on time, especially given that once I get it I then have the send it to Australia.

It's been great getting to know people on the facebook page, I have to say. We've getting a lot sorted now, I put some effort into making a FAQs section on the page, which I might repost here... but probably not till closer to when I leave.

But talking with everyone else has also gotten some other things sorted travel-wise! I mentioned that I'm on a flight with Jennifer and Amy. Those two had gone in and gotten a room at the Lake Buena Vista Holiday Inn Resort, which is the place right opposite Vista Way, the place where we have to check in on the morning of the seventh of January. So now, I've been organising with three others to stay in the same place. Kim (from Australia) and Hayden (from Dunedin) are arriving the day before I do and Kwong (Its actually Keillan, but that's what he is in my head... He's also aussie) is arriving the day before. We're all sharing a room... because we're cheap. It works out pretty well for me though because I can come and bug them super early in the morning after all my flights are done. (mwhahahahahha)

It'll hold four of us... right?

Went and got my glasses sorted. They are not very exciting, but that's kind of the point but I'll get them and my new contacts in a while.

In less exciting news my design for the group hoodies/t-shirt didn't win. Sadness. A lot of people seem interested in having it as well as what did win. They're veeery different. I might play around with mine a bit, make it less obviously 'groupy' and ditch the name/year on the back and just make it look like a normal shirt. Also I got stood up for the Auckland meet-up. That's really how it felt like. Ugh.

Two weeks into uni and its... going okay. The added work hours are definitely not something I would want to be doing all the time, but for Disney its worth it. This week will be rough though, assignments or tests for all my subjects, which is kind of intense for week 3. Haven't really managed to start on any of those and the test is tomorrow!!! Oops.

Not much more to say really other than thanks for reading...

Have a Magical Day :P
