- Lilo and Stitch
Well, this time in six months I think I will either be in the states or en route. This is pretty exciting, to say the least and yet at the moment I'm just like uuuuuuuuuuugh. Also, cupcakes!
Not much progress in the last week, don't really know what I'm waiting for to happen. Chatted to STA again and, frustratingly, I can't really buy a return ticket until the end of this month/start of the next to get within 18 months. Officially, I have enough to buy at least my outbound ticket and the suggestion is that I should really be doing it. The snob in me is NOT looking forward to having two stopovers, just to get to LA. (Wellington-Auckland-Nadi-LA-Orlando... ugh) Apparently 'Nadi' is pronounced 'Nandi'. Either that or my mum was just trying to confuse me. *sigh*
But I'm putting it off, wanting to see if I can organise to travel with someone else going over and have yet to decide whether to go on the 28th or on the 4th, which is the $1,075 flight days. I would LOVE to go to New York for New Years, but then I'd want to use my parent's time share in Florida so I'm not paying for a week of accommodation. (Please mum and dad?) Picked up some info on insurance, waiting for confirmation of what's the best cover to get from STB.
I DO have something to add to my Disney Dollar list! I bought a super cute travel document folder from Cotton On (Weird, right?) Keeping all my stuff in it already, including my passport with its convict-like photo (seriously, I look TERRIBLE). It was $24.95, but it'll be worth it because its bright blue and will be easy to find during my trip so I'm not holding anybody else up either :P Also, I am anticipating a lot of paperwork that it will be stuffed with shortly.
STB is still being frustratingly quiet on what is/will be happening, but I'm hoping that we're going to be getting more communication after the July group has shipped out. Also looking forward to a meet up with the other Auckland Cast Members to be on the 15th, just before uni starts up again and my life turns to crazy town.
In general, I'm feeling a little stressed out at the moment, not really for any particular reason (Well, I can think of two, but they aren't really enough to justify how much) I want to just stay in bed for a week. I think I just didn't get enough sleep last night. Also, I keep losing games of Tetris battle... that's probably it, actually. Also arrogant people bug me, though I no doubt have more than my fair share of those moments too. I need a cupcake... in case you didn't know...
Cupcakes are AMAZING.
A few of us were chatting on facebook the other night about having a cupcake party the day after we get to Disney. One girl does amazing picture like cupcakes! I like mine, where they have pretty swirly icing (my mum and I made some this weekend, yuuuuum) but they look totally awesome.
So I guess that will do for today! I'm feeling a bit better than I did when I started writing, which is nice. Time to go watch Toy Story 3 with the director's commentary! Ciao <3
